Keep it up martin, i find it adds a new challenge to the general spotting of birds. I've been way too busy the last couple of weeks, but will hopefully be out soon. Also, very jealous with your nightjar. Would love to see one.
ReplyDeleteWas that Nightjar or Nightingale you would like to see? had a new lifer today with Red-footed Falcon at Wereham water meadows.
DeleteBoth of them :). Also, never seen a red footed falcon,
ReplyDeleteTry and book on to one of PoolHarbourBirds Nightjar walks. very good chance of having a very good view of one. I went last year and had a very good view of one sitting along a branch the light was just right. Aslo heard them and watched them flying about it was a wonderful evening. Nightingale near Corfe Castle they might still be singing but will soon be leaving for Africa.
