First PWC Visit to Lytchett Fields for February

Today I had the chance to go to one of my Patch Work Challenge sites after going in to town to pick up my new reading glasses. Which I now need for reading and to use at  work while programming my VMC machines ( Vertical Machining Centre ) with numerical codes.
So after this I headed of down to the Fields arriving with a little break in the weather, but as soon as I got down to the bottom of the lane the weather turned again and it became very rough with high winds and driving rain at times. Though on the way down the lane I did find the usual fare of birds and a Bullfinch, down by the Pools field there was  a couple of Shelduck, 2 Mallard and a Little Egret. I mad my way back down the lane and headed of towards Frenches and Sherford Pools across muddy and water logged field on the way I noticed a group of Gulls flying round the water works, these were Black-headed Gulls but among them I noticed 2 Mediterranean Gulls my first of this year making the bird my second bird this month to be added to the list.
